Junior Lists and Activities

Directions: For each of the following vocabulary "roots" and "terms" do the following activities in your seating groups:

Create a webpage with:
a. Definitions for each root or term

b. A sentence for each root that contains a word which uses that root, or, a sentence for each vocabulary term

d. A mnemonic (definition) picture that reflects the meaning of the root or term

e. A mnemonic (definition) phrase that reflects the meaning and sound of the root or term

Example:

1. Euphoria: extremely pleasant feeling; sense of well-being

• Sentence: Receiving flowers gives my wife euphoria.
